About Us

Hi, I'm Jess- Veterinary Nurse for 16 years  and the creator of Spot.

Working with dogs every day means I've seen every kind of collar and lead you can imagine. Bright ones, bold ones, leather ones, patterned ones...but they all had one thing in common: they get dirty and smelly fast. Many held onto smells, stayed damp for ages, or looked worn out far too soon. 

At home my own dogs were no different. Quinn, my mischievous cocker loves to roll in absolutely anything she shouldn't. Hector, on the other hand, would happily swim all day if he could. Their collars were constantly wet, filthy or smelling like their latest adventures- and I found myself endlessly washing and waiting for them to dry. 

I knew there had to be something better. 

That's when I discovered BioThane®: durable, waterproof, wipe-clean and stylish- everything I'd been looking for, and from that discovery Spot. was born.
